The Story of My Story…………Part III....The End
Sometimes the fear of failure is much more than the actual failure.Dreams are the same. They are much more beautiful in the thoughts rather in reality when they actually come true…..
My apologies for dragging this story for so long ………
Vijesh and Shruti’s relationship has reached to the breaking point. Now journey has no diversions but enroute to a reality. A reality which is not so obvious but made them to part there ways……
Shruti remains firm on her decision to continue her work, Vijesh could not digest the reality and they both decide to find out there own ways to lead there life……
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: Sunset point After 30 years……they cross each other in the same place where they had met for the first time.Sunset point was the place for Shruti and Vijesh to start there journey………journey of there lifelong companionship
Vijesh- (Around 65years……hands shivering as usual……this time because of his age)
Shruti- (she has touched 60…still that smile hasn’t lost in those eyes)
Both stares at each other for a minute, somehow bounce backs to Past.. To recall those memories..its alomst 30 years
Last conversation of story………Sunset point……evening……same park bench…
Shruti: hiiiii(took some time to recognize him, bcaz of her week eye sighti)
Vijesh: hello (somehow fail to react)
Shruti: (observing him carefully)
Vijesh: you………Shurti !!
Shruti: yes…
Vijesh: how come you here?
Shruti: My son has got new flat close to this place…So…
Vijesh: okok…can we seat for a moment…
Shruti: (Looks into his eyes…observes his thick glasses)…ohh yes..sure
Vijesh: (observes her white hairs)……so how is life??
Shruti: Not so great……life is going…. (She starts unfolding her past of 30years)
My husband expired few years back….children’s are very busy with there life…this asthma just doesn’t leave me…(all of a sudden she starts feeling cold)
Vijesh: fumbles for a while…ohhh... you forgot your jacket..still you haven’t changed….. What dose it take to carry your jacket when you step Outside? I know, you wont change……somehow could not stop himself going back to there old days when he use scold her for forgetting her jacket… (vijesh silently lay his jacket on her)
Shruti: hmmmmm, Life was very occupied with husband and children’s….just could not got time for myself…I was running after some endless dreams…
It wasn’t that I expected when I left you…..i wanted to chase my dreams…but I couldn’t realize the moments and forgot the people to carry along…its not about the dreams…its about the journey to accomplished those dreams…things have changed so much!!!
Vijesh: hmmm..(Listening to her and observing her specs.. missing her smile)
Shruti: so what about you……..how is your wife and childrens?? Your childrens must have settled now, right?
Vijesh: fumbles…well………things were not that great…can we talk something more pleasant..lets drop it..
Shruti: No… answer me
Vijesh: why these questions are so important to answer??cant we just move…(He desperately wanted to avoid this question)
Shruti: No…we can’t!!
Vijesh: (short of words)
Shruti: (still waiting for his answer)
Vijesh: hmmm….I tried to move along with life after you left me…Things changed certainly..but I dint found someone with whom I could make a new start..i realized the importance of our relationship..it was so deep stuck in me..i just could not throw it…..i decided to lead my life alone…jouney was tough, but I could not see anyone else taking your place…..i learn something from life……a lesson for a life time…
Shruti: but how come you lived alone for so many years??? (Could not digest his answer)
VIjesh: (remains calm and laughs)…Shruti, you remember? Thirty years back when I proposed you on this park bench…..In the presence of Sun falling to the sky…(he always forgets his line)
Shruti: It’s not Sun falling to the sky. Its Sun falling from the sky!(correcting him patiently)
Vijesh: Yeahh..In the presence of sun falling from the sky…..in the response, you said “I like you so much”…i kept those words with me on this journey….i lived with those words
Shrut : (eyes completely filled with tears)…looking into his eyes…
Vijesh: (short of words)…
Both looks at each other…Vijesh couldn’t say anything after this..Shruti understands his unspoken words……
The End………
It could be a completely impractical story… As I reiterate, I described it the way I imagined ….i was touched and moved…
There are few words meant to be out of dictionary, we don’t refer dictionary for those.. Similarly there are few stories, which are meant to be unconventional…not so obvious…it could have happened in someone’s life or it may happen, though its not so pleasant…But that’s life……And “Life is Beautifool”…Trust me…
