Enroute to Kerla.......
I started travelling as a means to prove that there are better & meaningful risks in life…… other than trying to eye-ball the babe sitting opposite to you in barrista…
Now, I have reached a stage, where any sort of outdoor activity, out of the city, preferrably to places less inhabited by buses and chicks (I meant chicken….damn people with corrupt mind…), is the best way to learn more about life…
Actually we (my engg group) were planning for trip from a long time…finally it was anita`s marriage, which lead us to kerla…finally
We were all set with the latest technologies…handy cam, laptop, n GPRS (curtacy to reliance)…damn what the hell r u gonna do with all this??… Shut up…that was a answer for my question:((
Well I carried a kinda impression about kerala …absolutely influenced by Mr n Mrs Iyyer…not about the people m talking about the places…
I wont say I didn’t experience or this place couldn’t withstand to my expectations but It gave me a different insight of kerla…
The life of the people who live here is centered on these backwaters - here women pound their washing, families brush teeth, men linger at the local 'chai' shop, ferry boats, Backwaters form an inherent part of life in Kerala…
Kerala beaches may take a backseat because of the backwaters…they r awesome… may b bombaites feel it more strongly because of there girgaon n juhu beach experiences….
The beauty of the beach is not just in the sand and the sea. It's in the living environment that surrounds it. In the trees and plants…boy its longgg list..
Standing on a beach and watching the waves roll in and break, one might guess that water is moving bodily towards the shore…sometimes feel like u making an strange connection to those waves…its awesome…
What can I say about this one….actually I wanted to put the kanyakumari sun set pic…but I guess this bangali beauty has lots to say with her eyes…well my frnds njoyed her glimpse more than the sunset(damnit, wested half of the memory stick cathing this beb huhh)…
one can easily see as the sun falls from the sky, The sea soft and warm rolling, glittering golden red orange(god know I could see all the colours melting in the see)……huhhh….me almost reached there….
In the lap of the mountains, the Periyar wildlife sanctuary's is like a canvas of many shades. The fresh air of the forest gives one a chance to experience the peace and serenity and long to return for more….devaaa me looking for that from a long time….
This place is ideal for watching the animals in their natural habitat…
The forest here, slopes into the man-made lake at the bottom of the hill. This lake serves as the waterhole for the animals and they come here to drink or take a dip. yeah we spotted Elephants...well we couldn’t have treks in moonless night thru' the jungle with only torches...still carried few exciting memories of jungle shungle…
well this journy started with some expectations to learn more about life, the people... n landed with nothing but sweet memory lane....
The route the journy takes enroute to kerla evokes something inexplicable!!
